Blue Chalk Honored With New Awards

We're thrilled to announce that four of our projects have been honored with six awards in three separate competitions!

Two of our films won Communicator Awards, two more films were given Rosey Awards and two were named as honorable mentions at the Cynopsis Social Good Awards.

We are overjoyed with the acknowledgements of our work and send a heartfelt thanks to the clients and collaborators who made these projects possible.

Communicator Awards

The Communicator Awards recognizes big ideas in marketing and communication and is one of the largest award competitions of its kind in the world. It is judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts.

Our forthcoming film for Freedom House was given an Award of Excellence in the Online Video—Activism category and our film, “Burned Girl,” was given an Award of Merit in the Online Video—Non-Profit category.

Rosey Awards

The Rosey Awards are the only major awards that celebrate and recognize creative excellence in Portland advertising. They are judged by the Portland Advertising Federation.

“Now Boarding: Making Waves,” won an Award of Excellence in the Cinematography category and “Burned Girl” received an Award of Merit in the Web Video category.

Cynopsis Social Good Awards

The Cynopsis Social Good Awards are held by Cynopsis Media, a division of Access Intelligence that publishes five free-trade publications for TV, sports TV, media, and digital industries, and awards excellence in the area of social good in the TV and entertainment industry.

We received two honorable mentions from Cynopsis, one for “Burned Girl,” in the Philanthropic Campaign category and one for our “Promise of Oregon” campaign in the Integrated Social Campaign for a Brand category.

Thanks again to the talented folks who made this work possible, and congratulations to all of this year's award winners!
