Blue Chalk Honored with Two Davey Awards

We are honored to announce that two Blue Chalk short films have been selected for awards by the 10th Annual International Davey Awards.

"First Sight: Sonia & Anita," a film created for 20/20/20—a WonderWork charity that aims to bring 20/20 vision to 20 million in need, was selected for a Gold Award in the Davey Awards Charitable/Not-for-Profit category for Online Film/Video.

“Living City: A Tale of Two Bridges,” was selected for a Silver Award under the Information Davey Awards category for Online Film/Video. The NewsDox unit of Blue Chalk produced the Living City series in collaboration with The New York Times video department and metro desk. The six-part series looks at a range of major New York city and state infrastructure projects, from subways to waterways, waste management to steam systems. "A Tale of Two Bridges" compares the decision to replace the 60-year-old Tappan Zee Bridge connecting Westchester and Rockland counties across the Hudson River with the decision to renovate the iconic Brooklyn Bridge that is more than twice that age.
