Where Forecasts Save Lives

We're thrilled to announce that Blue Chalk and The Weather Channel are working together on a series of short films about people for whom an accurate weather forecast is essential.

Today we’re releasing Where Forecasts Save Lives about Dr. Christopher Van Tilburg, a member of the oldest mountain search and rescue organization in the United States. Dr. Van Tilburg and his volunteer crew rescued around 20 people last year on Mount Hood, Oregon, and the surrounding area.

We'll be working with The Weather Channel throughout 2014, so stay tuned for more shorts in this series. (And if you missed it, go check out the first film in the series, A Rose’s Journey.)
