We are growing our post-production team and are on the hunt for an Associate Editor - Systems Lead. This role would be based out of our Portland, OR, office. We are looking for someone who thrives when faced with technical challenges — someone who loves a good proxy, laughs in the face of 8K footage, and truly enjoys firmware upgrades. Most importantly, we are seeking someone who does it with a smile. 

Duties:

  • Helping to design and implement technical workflows around video footage.

  • Ensuring footage is prepared and organized as best as it can be before edits begin.

  • Maintaining and organizing our project backup and archives.

  • Exporting, checking, and uploading cuts for client review. 

  • Executing final delivery and archival of projects.

  • Researching and tracking stock footage and music as needed.

  • Editing videos using Adobe Premiere and other programs in the Creative Suite.

  • Creating text-based graphics as needed, with the assistance of our in-house graphics team.

  • Working with Producers and Creatives to hone cuts and revise according to feedback.

  • Tracking feedback items as notes are addressed.

  • Problem-solving.

  • Must be kind, hard-working, and able to go with the flow.

Relevant Experience:

  • Must have experience in video editing.
