America’s First Foodie Wins Food Film Award
We’re delighted to share the news that “America’s First Foodie” has been named the best “Single Food-Focused Video or Feature Film” at the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Awardsational Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Awards!
Directed by Beth Federici, and edited by Blue Chalk, the documentary film tells the story of acclaimed chef, James Beard, the man behind the James Beard Foundation Award and author of 22 cookbooks.
Last year, the film launched “Chefs Flight,” a collection of four documentaries about acclaimed chefs, part of the 31st season of PBS' “American Masters” series.
The IACP Awards recognizes original creative work conducted by leaders in the global culinary communications field including cookbooks, food photography, food writing and digital media.
