Pam Huling Named Top Woman Entrepreneur by Cynopsis
We’re thrilled to announce that Pam Huling, Blue Chalk co-founder and chief operating officer, has been named one of the Top Women in Digital by Cynopsis Media.
Pam is being honored in the Entrepreneurs category along with industry leaders in six categories from organizations such as NBCUniversal, Harpo Studios and Yahoo.
"I'm grateful for this recognition, which comes at an exciting time for us all," said Pam. "Never before have so many people—from so many different places—had so many opportunities to be entrepreneurial. Creating Blue Chalk Media on the crest of this digital wave has been a thrill.”
Pam, along with founder and CEO Greg Moyer, launched Blue Chalk Media in Nov. 2013 to build sustainable business models for world-class visual storytelling in the new media landscape.
Prior to Blue Chalk, Pam led business development at MediaStorm, an award-winning multimedia studio, and advised clients in Switzerland and New York City through Gaslight Media Consulting. She served on the Executive Board of FotoDC, a nonprofit in Washington, DC, for its first five years and also founded and managed two consumer cloud services that were focused on archiving family memories for more than ten years.
As the director of photo services at Discovery Communications, Inc., Pam oversaw all aspects of photography for more than 100 television brands worldwide, starting as an intern and developing the department over 15 years of rapid expansion.
In its inaugural year, the Top Women in Digital Awards honors women excelling in digital content, marketing, advertising, social media, and online. “They are women who have helped clear a path in what is still a relatively young industry and Cynopsis Digital is proud to shine a spotlight on them,” according to Cynopsis.
Cynopsis will honor the awardees at the Top Women in Digital reception on April 23, 5:00-6:30pm. Purchase tickets for the reception on the Cynopsis website.
Our heartfelt congratulations to all the honorees. Our industry wouldn't be what it is without your awesome efforts.
