We’re very excited to announce that a documentary edited by Blue Chalk's Greg Snider is set to air on PBS on Friday, May 19, at 9pm ET!

Directed by Beth Federici, “America’s First Foodie” tells the story of acclaimed chef, James Beard, the man behind the James Beard Foundation Award and author of 22 cookbooks.

Through letters to friends and colleagues, rare archival footage, vintage photographs and interviews with Beard’s friends and peers, the documentary reveals Beard’s talents, sense of humor and genius.  

The film will launch “Chefs Flight,” a collection of four documentaries about acclaimed chefs, part of the 31st season of PBS' “American Masters” series.
