Blue Chalk Honored in Three Webby Categories
Holy moly.
We can hardly believe the news: Two Blue Chalk projects have been honored in the 2015 Webby Awards! The competition celebrates everything that makes the Internet amazing and The New York Times calls it, "the Internet's highest honor."
Ochre, Blue Chalk's company blog, is a Nominee for Websites: Blog - Business and an Honoree for Websites / Best Use of Photography.
In addition, we have the exciting opportunity to win a People's Voice Award in the Blog - Business category, which is where you come in!
Here's how it works: our little startup blog is up against giants like Mashable, The Atlantic, Stanford University and Re/Code for the People's Voice Award in this category. The nominee with the most votes will win so if we were basing this on size alone we'd be pretty worried right now. But, here at Blue Chalk we know the power of small and determined! We have a loyal following of passionate followers and a can-do attitude toward bringing the best quality storytelling to the web.
With your help, we CAN DO this! Please take 30 seconds to click here and vote for us. Together, we can make it happen!
In addition, Living City, our infrastructure web series for The New York Times, is also an Honoree for best Online Film & Video / Documentary: Series.
We are so humbled by the news! Congratulations to all of this year's Nominees and Honorees. You all make the Internet great.
