Blue Chalk Shortlisted at AIB Awards
"Great Immigrants: The Pride of America," was shortlisted in the Short Feature category at the Association for International Broadcasters (AIB) awards which took place in London last week.
The film was produced for the Carnegie Corporation of New York and profiles Claudius Zorokong, a 30-year-old native of Sierra Leone and a recent graduate now working on Capitol Hill.
Other organizations shortlisted in the category included The Guardian and ITV News. BBC World Service was named the overall winner for its film, "Vicky's Story".
Blue Chalk Media previously won the category with WonderWork films, "First Sight: Sonia & Anita" and "Burned Girl,"in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
In addition to attending the awards, Blue Chalk CEO, Greg Moyer, was invited to moderate a panel at the #iamabroadcaster AIBs Masterclass.
The topic of the panel was "Storytelling Without Boundaries" and featured Ben Taylor, Director of Snappin' Turtle Productions, and Zehra Yilmaz, from TRT.
