We're so happy to welcome Julianne to the team as producer. Julianne started at Blue Chalk in 2014 and assumed her staff position as of April 1.  

Julianne is a Portland native with a journalism degree from the University of Oregon. She is particularly interested in how thoughtful and honest storytelling can facilitate social change.

As an Oregonian, she gained a deeper appreciation of the state as the producer for the Oregon School Board Association’s award-winning Promise of Oregon campaign. She also produced projects for TIME, Siegel and Gale, and Bloomberg, and oversees Blue Chalk's production workflow.  

Her favorite place to be is anywhere she’s never been—whether exploring the canyons of Leslie Gulch in eastern Oregon, backpacking in South America, or working in Ghana’s chaotic capital.
