Blue Chalk Wins Seven Davey Awards

Six Blue Chalk projects have received seven Davey Awards! The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids,” the small agencies who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets.

Both films we created for Roman Catholic aid organization Vastenactie, “Beatrice” and “Emeldah,” won Gold Awards. “Beatrice” won in the “Charitable/Not-For-Profit” category and “Emeldah” won in the “Videography/Cinematography” category.

Next up, the “India 100:Food,” produced for The Foundry, Time Inc's custom content studio, won a Gold Award in both the “Travel/Tourism” and “Videography/Cinematography” category.

Finally, three of our films for the higher education division of Pearson won Silver Awards. The trailer for our Pearson Originals series won in the “Trailers” category, while “Pearson World Religions: Christianity” and “The American Working Class: Voices from Harrisburg, IL” won in the “Religion/Spirituality” category and the “News/News Features” categories respectively.

Since 2014, we have won a total of 17 Davey Awards in a wide range of categories. These achievements would not be possible without the tireless work of our team and our clients. Our deepest gratitude to all.
