We’re excited to announce that Firebreak  has been selected to screen at the first-ever Portland Panorama Film Festival, which takes place from April 10–20, 2025. As a Portland-based production company, we’re especially honored to bring this film home to screen at the iconic Hollywood Theatre on Thursday, April 17, at 7:30 PM PDT.

Directed and produced by Blue Chalk Executive Producer Kenzie Bruce, Firebreak tells the story of Brandon Smith and Royal Ramey, two men who met fighting wildfires while incarcerated in California. After launching their own careers as professional firefighters, they co-founded The Forestry and Fire Recruitment Program (FFRP) to help others like them enter the fire service and overcome systemic barriers.
