Sanah: An Inspiring Story for Pearson

Blue Chalk worked with Pearson Education to produce a series of films that highlight inspirational people who have overcome barriers to education.

In this film, we meet Sanah, a driven young woman dedicated to helping others.

When Sanah was in 7th grade, she began suffering from alopecia, which severely impacted her confidence and made school a difficult place to be. But, inspired by her mom’s struggle to get an education in Pakistan, Sanah found the strength to change her mindset.

Now, Sinah, is a freshman in college and the founder of the Love Your Natural Self Foundation, a nonprofit that works to empower others to think differently about their self-worth.

The film was released by Pearson on Thursday, March 8, 2018, to celebrate International Women's Day.

“Sanah” is the second film in the series, you can watch the first film, “Ricardo,” about an incredible young immigration activist, here.
