Surf's Up with Kai Lenny

Nothing says summer quite like palm trees, sandy coast lines, and salty Hawaiian A-frame waves.

Our fifth film in our year-long series with The Weather Channel follows world-renowned athlete Kai Lenny as he chases weather conditions to find the best surf on Maui. He keeps an eye on The Weather Channel so he can kite, paddle and surf the most legendary waters in the Pacific.

Kai learned how to surf at the age of 4, windsurf at 6, stand up surf at 7 and kite surf at 9. Learning how to do these sports all happened naturally, and from it grew his love affair with the ocean and the waves. Currently his main competitive sport is SUP and even at his early age, he already holds the title of three World Championships.

But don't let us keep you any longer. Surf's up! Take a moment to hit the waves with Kai.
