About the Project
Blue Chalk worked with The Weather Channel to produce a series of short films to be shared across the web and adapted for television. The films tell the stories of real people for whom having an accurate weather forecast is essential.
Our sixth film follows deep sky observer Dr. Orum Stringer as he and other amateur astronomers set up camp in Cherry Springs, PA under the darkest sky on the Eastern Seaboard. The astronomers rely on the weather forecast to know when they'll be able to get their best view.
