Blue Chalk worked with War Bride Daughters LLC to create a 26-minute documentary exploring the experiences and identities of three Japanese War Brides and their journey from war-ravaged Japan to racially segregated 1950s America. In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of V-J Day, “Fall Seven Times Get Up Eight: The Japanese War Brides” aired on BBC World News, a global news channel distributed in over 200 countries.
