The Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) hired Blue Chalk to create a statewide campaign to encourage public support for investing in public education. The resulting Promise of Oregon Campaign includes nearly 200 portraits of Oregon's young people, a website, social media strategy, an online advertising campaign, and a series of video portraits.
In the latest video, meet 10 Oregonians who graduated from public schools as they reflect on the educational experiences that started them on their paths to success. Among them are Dan Wieden, co-founder of Wieden+Kennedy; Greg Bell, a motivational speaker and author; and Alex Sokol Blosser, a local winemaker.
Their experiences can attest to the value of a robust public education system and the need to support and invest in Oregon public schools in order to create and maintain a thriving state.
