About the Project

In light of recent high-profile events, there is growing public concern about the transparency and accountability of neighborhood police forces. Placing cameras on police officers appears to be a solution that both the public and police see as a potential solution that starts to rebuild the trust damaged by incidents of abuse.

Blue Chalk produced this short film for Time magazine that explores the use and effectiveness of police body cameras by the Oakland, CA, police force. The film is part of a series on .. sponsored by Microsoft.
