About the Project
Blue Chalk and Portland agency Must Be Something partnered with Urban Gleaners to create a short film that highlights the organization's work distributing food to hungry families in Multnomah County, Oregon.
Urban Gleaners' mission is to help alleviate hunger by collecting edible, surplus food, that would otherwise be thrown away, and redistribute it to agencies that feed the hungry.
The film was showcased at the "Gleaner’s Feast" event where it helped to raise over $160,000 in one evening. These contributions will enable Urban Gleaners to share more than 225,000 meals with local children.
