Blue Chalk is Highly Commended at AIB Awards
Our film, "The Red Door Project: Evolve," has been "Highly Commended" by The Association of International Broadcasting (AIB) Awards in the "Arts and Culture TV and Video" category.
The film showcases a unique performance experience, staged by theater production company "The Red Door Project," which explores the relationship between law enforcement and communities of color.
The AIB judges praised the film for its "original sound bites, the dense camera work, and the courageous but always appropriate editing."
The AIB Awards are international awards for factual television, radio, audio, and online productions in any language. This year, work by organizations such as Al Jazeera, the BBC, and CNN were among the honored projects. This was also Blue Chalk’s sixth year in a row to be honored by the AIBs.
The AIB Awards have typically been held as a gala dinner event in London, United Kingdom, but due to COVID-19, this year's event took the form of a live awards program that was streamed on YouTube and Facebook.
