Blue Chalk film, "Rising from the Ashes," created for the Oregon School Boards Association, has won an Award of Excellence in the 2021 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Awards. 

Released in December 2020, "Rising from the Ashes" tells the stories of the Oregon public schools that were hit hardest by the wildfires that raged across the state, forcing over 40,000 residents to evacuate.

The film is part of OSBA's "Rising from the Ashes" campaign, which aims to show where support is needed most to help Oregon students and their families rebuild.   

The NSPRA Publications and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing/informational materials (print and electronic), video/TV/radio programs, social media, and websites. This win marks our ninth NSPRA Award since 2016.
