About the Project

There are currently millions of children suffering with clubfoot around the world who are in need of treatment, which can cost as little as $250. These children often do not receive treatment because they are too poor to afford it. Kajal Kumar, nine years old, was one of these children until First Step, a charity that offers a cure for free, gave her access to the help she needed.

Blue Chalk traveled to India to document Kajal’s story and to meet the doctor responsible for assisting her, and thousands more children just like her. Blue Chalk created the stills and video to support WonderWork and FirstStep.
