About the Project

Blue Chalk worked with TIME Magazine and TIME.com to produce a film about the advancements made in forensic sciences since the arrest of the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, over 20 years ago

In this film, Dr. Jenifer Smith, Director of the Department of Forensic Sciences, within the District of Columbia, describes the uniqueness of the Unabomber case before taking us through the multiple technologies which have emerged since she began her career thirty years ago.

The final version of the film forms part of an article about the potential science has to make getting away with murder impossible.

Watch the film now on TIME.com.
